Bshop Dr Steven Mutua & Pastor Gladys Mutua
Dr. Stephen Mutua is a renowned personality in the area of international evangelism, missions and church planting. His status as an iconic 21st century leader is unquestionable; he is a life coach and a mentor. He is a constant advocate for change and progress. As a motivator he is committed to helping people maximize their potential, by discovering, developing and deploying the unique gifts God has placed within them. He has worked with World Vision International for many years as an International Director with Christ for all Nations, the ministry of Evangelist Reinhard Bonnke for over 20 years, in charge of many nations all over the world.
Dr. Mutua is anointed to preach the word in season, to heal the broken-hearts and proclaim liberty to those who have been held captives; and he communicates the word of God with passion, precision and great prophetic insight. He is well sought–after conference and crusades speaker. He has a strong passion of taking the message of Christ to all corners of the earth and has been involved in mission work in over 100 nations.
He served as a Church planter and a Senior Pastor with Nairobi Pentecostal Church (CITAM) before the Lord called him to begin his current ministry Eagles Christian Church in Nairobi with several branches already. ECC, as it is commonly known is one of the fastest growing churches.He believes that God is raising a generation with the characteristics of an eagle.
Stephen is married to Pastor Gladys. They have four grown up children and grandchildren. He has a passion for young people. He says “young people are not leaders of tomorrow but of today”. His desire is to see them equipped and empowered to be all that God has called them to be.
